Our Team
Great Lakes IT Services began as a service arm of Great Lake Electronic Distributing (GLED). GLED was in business for 25 years as a manufacturer of custom computers and servers. GLED’s systems were utilized by the US armed forces and other government agencies, software manufacturers and computer resellers. GLED systems can also be found in hundreds of school systems in more than 25 states.
In 2009 the services part of our business spun off from our manufacturing arm. Since then we continue to grow as a successful IT services company in the Buffalo area.
We serve a diverse mix of businesses: insurance companies, law offices, medical and dental practices, fire departments, manufacturers, hotels, and a host of others. Our staff has both in-depth knowledge and a wide breadth of experience in the IT industry. Our knowledge of network environments and server operating systems sets us apart from the typical technology service provider. We are proud of the fact that some of our competitors utilize our services on complex projects. However, our main focus is you, our client. We strive to bring cost effective solutions to all of our customers in a professional and responsive manner.
